“A World of Songs”

“A World of Songs” with Roderick Phipps-Kettlewell

September 23rd at 7:30pm – The Zephyr Depot

Singing is one of the most basic of human instincts. Our own body is the instrument! Add words to the production of resonant sound and music, and we have such a powerful way to communicate. There are the cries of the heart from our core, joy and exultation, and the sheer delight in sharing our deepest thought and feelings. There is also the fun and playful use of language, telling stories and taking the listener on unexpected emotional journeys. This program is an unprecedented combination of singing in may different genres. So come and hear these many different styles, all mingled together in creative and powerful ways, offered by a wealth of great local talent who can bring such a rich offering right into our community!
