Zach Filkins loves doing anything he can with theater. He has been directing and choreographig at Hastings Middle school for 6 years. He has also co-directed at Black Dirt Theater. He has been improvising at Black Dirt Theater since 2011 and took over as co-leader since the 2017-2018 season. He has acted at Black Dirt Theater, Guthrie Theater, (lumin)theater lab, and many more. He is very excited to do theater here at Zephyr Theater.

Tom Sorenson has been in love with theater and improv since his high school days in the 90s.  He’s always eager to learn new things on stage and meet new people through those experiences.  Most recently, Tom had the honor of playing Claude Frollo in Woodbury Community Theater’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame.  He has performed theater all over the Twin Cities area, currently playing with Black Dirt Improv in Hastings and is a co-founding member of (lumin)theater lab.

Erika Sasseville’s love of improv started young, first by watching “Whose Line is it Anyway?” then by playing it herself when she started doing theater in high school. While pursuing a BA in Theater from the University of Minnesota: Duluth, Erika took her excitement for improv comedy to the next level when she led a student improv troupe during her junior and senior year. After graduating, Erika joined Black Dirt Improv and now leads their second team: Black Dirt Improv Lite.
