When Writing Meets Art is a series of literary readings in art spaces by emerging and published writers of memoir, poetry and fiction.

Upcoming 2019 readings at The Zephyr Theatre:
Sundays at 2 p.m. – Jan. 20, May 19 and Sept. 15.

Free admission, light refreshments are served. Donations for The Zephyr Theatre are appreciated.

The reading series was founded in 2011 and is curated by Elissa Cottle, master of fine arts in writing, published poet and member of The Zephyr Theatre’s Board of Trustees.

Elissa teaches Creating a Writing Life, a class for adults to write memoir, fiction or poetry, at ArtReach St. Croix in Stillwater. Some of her students are selected to present their work at When Writing Meets Art readings.
