When Writing Meets Art – a literary reading series, Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019

This reading will feature Norita Dittberner-Jax, an award-winning author of several poetry collections, including her latest book Crossing the Waters. Also featured: local writers Denise Alden, Lizzie Harris, Reeve Lasky, Mike McMahon, Christine Poch-Martinez, Nicole Schumacher and Elissa Cottle reading poetry, memoir, and fiction.
Admission is free, and light refreshments will be available.

The reading series was founded in 2011 and is curated by Elissa Cottle, master of fine arts in writing, published poet, and member of The Zephyr Theatre’s Board of Trustees.

Elissa teaches Creating a Writing Life, a class for adults to write memoir, fiction or poetry, at ArtReach St. Croix in Stillwater, and some of her students are selected to present their work at When Writing Meets Art readings.
