Join us for a fun and focused classical approach to drawing. This class teaches techniques that work and build confidence. Foundational skills are learned, and will become the tools to facilitate creative ideas and the means to the desired end result.

Students begin in pencil learning basic drawing skills:

  • Drawing what they see with accuracy.
  • Developing the eye to see spatial relationships, values, and representing 3-dimentional form.
  • Understanding the process of developing a drawing from the beginning to the finished piece.

The class is taught by Lena Wolf Rothman, a classically trained painter who has taught art classes to children, teens, and adults for over 25 years in St. Paul, Minnesota. Rothman’s students have received numerous awards in both the Minnesota State Fair and Junior Duck Stamp competitions.
