The Tommy Bentz Band, with slide guitars and drums, christened the new outdoor stage at The Zephyr Theatre July 10. These three Wisconsin rockers were the first musicians to perform in the Zephyr Breeze Summer Series, and they attracted a crowd of nearly 100.

Free root-beer floats have been part of the Fourth of July celebration hosted by The Zephyr Theatre for three years. That tradition will continue this year when the theatre reopens for entertainment July 4. While kids get their floats from the newly refurbished trolley car on the old tracks east of the theatre, adults will be able to buy drinks at the theatre’s bar.
